Kate is a fictional candidate for Senate in Montana. The state has a long tradition of sensible, independent-minded voters who resist easy partisan categorization. Persuading independents, moderate conservatives, and non-affiliated voters is just as important as motivating base voters. The design and copy focus on shared values and straight talk.
